During my physics studies at UCPH I have had a large variety of courses mostly focusing on climate and geophysics as well as the classic physics disciplines. The physics programme at UCPH has a deep focus on the datascience aspects of the physics research today and has given insights into this.
Thesis – Whispers of Ancient Air Bubbles in Polar Ice
My thesis looked into a novel approach to total air content studies based on the acoustical signal of air bubbles in ice cores. This was done by melting and recording ice cores and using acoustics techniques to analyze the frequencies to estimate bubble sizes according to the Minneart frequency [Minnaert, 1933].

More Climate and ice core research
Bachelor project
Cutting and analysis of water isotopes and chemical signals using continuous flow analysis in 3 shallow snow cores to see a recent warming trend in Northern Greenland.

Field work
Laboratory assistent on the Greenland Ice Sheet working in the science lab by doing initial measurements of the ice core using ECM and DEP

Glacier analysis
Using Glacier dynamics and modelling to analyze strain rate and surface mass balance of the Gerard de Geer Glacier, East Greenland
